Preventative Botox

Preventative botox in your twenties is one of the best decisions you can make for your skin, and your wallet! We gathered our most FAQ about preventative botox to answer in this post.

Why should one consider preventative Botox or Dysport?

Receiving preventative injections is the most proactive approach to preventing permanent lines. It’s also the most cost efficient because the earlier you start, the less you will need in the long run.

What’s the best age to begin preventative Botox or Dysport? And how often will one need it?

We believe that the best age to start preventative injections is in your mid-twenties or when you begin to see “static lines” and then we suggest coming back every 4 – 6 months.

Where do people usually request preventative Botox or Dysport?

The three biggest concerns are often the space between one’s brows (medical term is Glabella,) forehead, and crows feet. We mainly see clients who come in for their Glabella and forehead, and then later in their life come to fix their crows feet.

What is the difference between Botox and Dysport?

Dysport works relatively quicker than Botox, but does not have the same longevity as Botox. Clients choose Dysport when they wish to go the more conservative route due to Dysport allowing more movement in the face.  Botox is more expensive than Dysport, and takes longer to see the results, but the results are much stronger. We like to recommend Dysport to our first – timers, and those in their early or mid – twenties.
