Vampire Facial® and Facelift®

As you grow older, your skin might start to show significant signs of aging. As collagen decreases and volume diminishes, the facial tissue begin to droop and a rough, uneven texture emerges. With the revolutionary Vampire Facelift® and Vampire Facial® procedures, you can non-surgically combat these effects to restore a smooth and rejuvenated complexion that lasts. That's where the Vampire Facial® and the Vampire Facelift® come in. These are two different procedures that focus on using your own blood to reinvigorate the skin, hence the name "vampire".

Both procedures are becoming more and more popular throughout Hollywood stars due to the noninvasive nature of both treatments and the fast healing time. As for results, it may take four to six weeks for results to be fully realized, but most people say they feel their skin still looks more rested and younger than ever up to one year after treatment(s).

Vampire Facial®

The Vampire Facial® is designed to treat superficial concerns, such as uneven texture, fine lines, and acne scarring. We recommend three treatments, one per month, for the best results.

What to expect:

  1. A small amount of blood is drawn from the arm. Then, using a centrifuge and a particular method, the platelet-rich plasma (PRP) is isolated from the red blood cells. The area is numbed with a potent anesthetic cream for about 30 minutes.
  2. A micro-needling pen will be used to create small micro channels in the skin. The body considers these micro channels to be a signal to simulate growth factors that produce collagen and elastin.
  3. The growth factors found in the platelet-rich plasma (PRP) harvested from your own blood will trigger your cells to regenerate the skin.

Vampire Facelift®

The Vampire Facelift® is designed to target volume loss, fine lines, and wrinkles of the face. Most patients need one to two treatments per year.

What to expect:

  1. A small amount of blood is drawn from the arm. Then, using a centrifuge and a particular method, the platelet-rich plasma (PRP) is isolated from the red blood cells. The area is numbed with a potent anesthetic cream for about 30 minutes.
  2. A hyaluronic acid filler is used to reshape your face to achieve a younger appearance.
  3. The platelet-rich plasma is injected back into the face where the dermal filler was placed. The growth factors from the PRP settle into the hyaluronic filler to begin the collagen enhancement process.

Important Considerations

We do not recommend PRP treatments for patients who currently smoke cigarettes, are on blood thinners, have a history of alcohol or drug misuse, or those who are pregnant or breastfeeding. PRP is also contraindicated for those who have been diagnosed with the following:

  • Acute or chronic infections
  • Cancer
  • Chronic liver disease
  • Platelet dysfunction syndrome
  • Anemia
  • Thrombocytopenia
  • Recent fever or illness
